Meet our heroes: Extra Lifer Bethany Helsel
Meet another one of our Extra Life heroes, Bethany Helsel of the Gearbox Union team. Bethany, 31, has been involved with Extra Life for three years. Her favorite games are Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Dota 2 and Final Fantasy VII, which is the game she is most looking forward to playing on gameday.
What is Bethany’s why?
“I find great joy in knowing that I’m helping other people,” she says. “Extra Life is a win-win for me. I get to play video games, and help sick kids! I think it is an amazing organization, and I am truly happy to be able to participate. It wouldn’t be possible without help from a lot of wonderful people.”
