KISSFM 102.7 radiothon raises more than $25,000

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The 14th Annual KISS for Kids Radiothon held on March 21 on KISS FM 102.7 raised a total of $25,470.77 for kids treated at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and pediatric services across the region.

The 14-hour event was broadcast live from the lobby of the children’s hospital and featured local children who have been treated at the hospital as well as families’ stories of how the hospital and pediatric services have made a difference in their lives. Hosts Gary Chrisman, Bob Hauer, Andi Kurzweg and Gail Bair spent the day telling miracle stories and encouraging listeners to become Miracle Makers by giving $20 per month for the health of local kids.

All the funds raised during the radiothon event will stay local to provide quality care for children in our region.

KISS FM and the Geisinger Foundation’s Children’s Miracle Network team would like to thank the listeners who gave generously to the mission to provide care for kids and their families. We would also like to thank the radiothon sponsors including Moff & Associates Investment Planning, Williamsport; PMF Industries, Williamsport; Kerstetter Law, Lewisburg; Best Cleaners, Paxinos; Hurwitz Batteries, South Williamsport; Hudock Capital Group, Williamsport; Sunbury Motors; PALCO Federal Credit Union, Muncy; Weis Markets, Sunbury; and W&L Subaru, Northumberland.
