Walmart campaign continues to Nov. 3

Walmart’s campaign to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals continues until this Friday, No. 3. Many of our Walmart locations have come up with unique and creative ways to raise money for local children treated at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.

John the greeter at the Sam’s Club No. 6366 in Vestal, NY, says he loves this time of year and said the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) bed donation canister really draws support. He says he misses the bed when it is gone after the campaign.

Walmart No. 5732 in Johnson City, NY, has a fun cash collection canister at its entrance to collect donations for Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.

Wilkes-Barre Sam’s Club has a NICU bed cash collection canister on display as well.

Wilkes-Barre Sam’s Club also held a food and beverage sale to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger and has a large display of the balloon icons they have sold during the campaign.
