Walmart and Sam’s Club visit Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital

Ahead of the 2023 campaign, associates from Walmart and Sam’s Club visited Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville. The day consisted of tours of the children’s hospital, lunch catered by Pine Barn Inn and a presentation highlighting the past 35 years of partnership, successes of the 2022 campaign and calendar year and gearing up for the 2023 campaign.

Associates came from all across the state to join together to meet a special Miracle Kid, Laila, who is serving as the 2023 Local Champion for Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. In attendance were 71 associates representing 25 Walmart stores, 3 Walmart transportation/distribution centers, 2 Sam’s Clubs and 1 market lead.

The Walmart and Sam’s Club campaign continues through Friday, July 14th.
