When you aren’t working, how do you like to spend your time?
— Spending time with my family.
— Serving as the Lycoming County Coroner since January 2000.
— President of the PA State Coroners Association.
— Vice President of the Lycoming County Health Improvement Coalition.
— Chair PA Safe Kids Lycoming County Partner.
— Assistant Chief of the Old Lycoming Twp. Vol. Fire Company.
What made you want to be involved with Life Flight?
Upon graduation from nursing school, I had been an EMT for many years. While working with the early Life Flight staff, I set my goal on becoming a Flight Nurse. When the Life Flight No. 4 Base was placed in Montoursville in 2005 this goal was achieved.
What is your favorite part of what you do?
Caring for critically-ill and injured patients when called upon.
How have donations to Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger helped in allowing you to perform your job?
Donations have provided Life Flight helicopters with state-of-the-art equipment to care for critically ill and injured children.
