Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger makes 2 new hires

Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger is delighted to have two new staff members joining our team on Monday, Nov. 20

Samantha “Sam” Kennelly, will be the department’s new coordinator, she comes to Geisinger from from Seton Hall University, where she served as Assistant Director of Annual Giving.  Sam received her bachelor of science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University and received her Masters in Public Administration, Nonprofit Organization and Management from Seton Hall.

Kate Billmeyer, was hired as the new program specialist for the northeast region. Kate comes to Geisinger from OPTiMO Information Technology where she worked as a Corporate Recruiter and Marketing Coordinator.  Kate had worked for Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger from 2009 to 2015 and returns after 2 years with OPTiMO. She has a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from Temple University.

Both experienced individuals are very passionate about Children’s Miracle Network and have both witnessed firsthand the great work being done at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital!
