Meet our heroes: Extra Life Gamer Joshua Turiano

Joshua Turiano, 38, has been involved with Extra Life for six years. He enjoys playing Arkham Horror, Halo, World of Warships, D&D, World of Warcraft and Minecraft. Joshua is looking forward to hosting Virtual Reality sessions for anyone able to stop by and support The Gearbox Union‘s game day event on Nov. 2 at 201 Cayuga Ave., Altoona.

What is Joshua’s Why?
“I have a 6-year-old son, Will, and he means the world to me,” he says. “He’s been to the hospitals in the past due to a dairy allergy so I know how as a parent how draining it can be. Knowing there’s a great local children’s hospital and being able to raise money in this fashion is my way of giving back.”
