Bucknell’s RAYthon is Bursting with Blankets!

As part of Bucknell University’s dance marathon program, RAYthon, students came together at Makerspace to make blankets for children being treated at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. The event was held to raise awareness for the programs and services offered at Geisinger as well as encourage students to sign up to participate in their upcoming event. Blankets are one of the top critical needs for pediatric patients during their inpatient stays in the hospital.

Bucknell University will be hosting its 3rd annual dance marathon event on March 25 with a carnival theme. The students hope to exceed their 2022 fundraising total and change kids’ health. In attendance will be several of our Miracle Families as well as Bucknell student organizations and sports teams. Last year’s event raised an impressive $5,426.29 to support the health of local kids treated at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
