Area Miracle Kids Visit GIANT During CMN Round-up Campaign

Last month, local miracle kids from Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital visited the teams at three GIANT stores during their CMN round-up campaign. The kids got the opportunity to meet the employees and share stories of their medical journey. In return, they enjoyed fun activities and store-wide tours.
Round up your total at local GIANT and MARTIN’S through the end of August to raise money to help kids like Saige, Owen and Tessa!
Hosting local champion Saige were Joe and Dan, Assistant Managers at Store# 6305 in Scranton. Since Saige loves to bake they started her visit off decorating her own cake in the bakery and surprised her with some flowers and a stuffed “Marty” after her tour.Miracle Kid Owen had a great time shopping with his “Customer in Training” cart – he even got to see a live lobster! Owen felt like a member of the team when Assistant Manager, Jason at Store# 6081 in Hazleton, made him an official GIANT ID badge!Miracle Kid Tessa and her sister Taylinn surprised Assistant Manager, Olivia, and her team at Store# 6524 in State College with a cake to celebrate them being awarded the top fundraising store during the 2021 CMN Round-up campaign. They enjoyed their tour and picking out some balloons in the floral department!
